Sarah Holgate is a 2001 graduate of Lackawanna Trail High School

Congratulations to the Lackawanna Trail Winter Guard for their strong 4th place showing at Whitehall High School on Saturday, March 29th. This was their very first competition!! Good luck on April 12th at Daniel Boone High School!!

What is Winter Guard?

Winter Guard combines color guard, dance and theater in an indoor competitive show. The Winter Guard will compete in the spring against similar school programs on the east coast. Additionally, Winter Guard may perform for other school functions including at basketball games or pep rallies.

Winter Guard Schedule-

• Practice every Monday and Wednesday from 3:15 until 5:15 (minimum-if we have the gym for practice that may mean a longer practice)

Competition/Practice/Performance Schedule

• Friday, April 11th-Perform during the opening sequence of the school musical "Grease." Practice in the gym, following performance until curtain call.
• • Saturday, April 12th-Competition at Daniel Boone High School. Report to the school at 1:30 in costume to perform during the opening sequence of the high school musical. Practice after performance in the gym. We will depart for the competition by 4 PM, depending on our performance time. Right now, awards are scheduled for 9:45, although this is going to change to an earlier time as they update the schedule. If we leave Reading by 10 PM, we will not be getting back until approx. 12:30 AM.
